When in Sauraha , this place is a must visit guys ! You can have freshly made pizza & pidè over here and also don’t miss to try out the chocolate brownies ! Too good to be good! Yugal dai is also very much hospitable . Loved his energy, very much into positive vibes ! 10/10 place !

If you are looking for the best pizza, coffee and pide in town - stop looking and go to Thapchan X Change. Located right next to an elephant center and only two walking minutes from the river, this café is run by the most amazing Shreya and Yugal who will do whatever they can to make your taste buds fly. I love the vibe, the quietness, and serenity of this place, the details and love the owners put into it. A must visit when in Sauraha!

If you’re in Chitwan and not here at Thapchan x change, you’re truly missing out! The pizzas, pides, coffee all of it beautifully handcrafted by Yugal awaken your tastebuds where you didn’t know you had them! He has a very meditative way of preparing food and brewing coffee and you can feel it in every bite, every sip! I literally have never tasted coffee with so many different smooth notes and flavors. Yugal explained his process to us freely and kindly and now my partner tries to make every pot of coffee the Yugal-way (I’m a very happy girlfriend). Yugal also recommended us the best places to eat different local cuisines in the area and honestly made our stay in Chitwan the best one ever. We reached Thapchan x change after Yugal’s wife Shreya(our dear dear sister/friend) had already moved on for her after-human adventures but her presence filled everything there. Thapchan x change is her and Yugal’s dream child and it is a testament to the all-encompassing love she lived with. Thank you so much for sharing your love with us. I can’t wait to come back.

Being from New York, I’ve been craving pizza and coffee more than ever. Thapchan has incredible coffee and delicious pizza with the perfect amount of chew in the crust. They’ve nailed it. The atmosphere and owners Shreya and Yugal were absolutely lovely too, 10/10!

Sherya and Yugal's place is amazing and special. The coffee is high quality, very tasty with special flavors. The pizza is delicious. Sherya and yugal are lovely, unique and interesting people, so welcoming, and make you feel at home. The place is designed in a natural and beautiful style, it has good vibes and is pleasant to sit in, enjoy and relax. We enjoyed the experience very much and came back every day to enjoy it again.

If you’re looking for the best + pide in town & absolutely the best host, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Thapechans also don’t shy away from serving you the most deliciously brewed coffee, alongside good vibes and the most adorb fur friends. They also have a little corner for thrift exchange and all the profits go to training elephants in Sauraha through positive reinforcement. (What other reasons do you need?) This will definitely be my go-to spot every time I visit Sauraha. Thank you, Thapechan for curating a wholesome experience as I devoured my pide, pizza and coffee, cheers!
